Baroudi & Associates, our correspondents in Lebanon, have provided the Association with updated information about the certificate issued by the Boycott Office of Israel at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in Lebanon. Baroudi & Associates have informed that it is no longer mandatory to obtain a certificate confirming that the vessel has never called in Israeli ports. However, it is recommended by them that a vessel should hold a certificate on board as ever in order to demonstrate certainly and smoothly to the authorities that the vessel has never called in Israeli ports.
