Lebanon – Boycott Office of Israel Certificate Required (2) 12 November 2015 No.781 Download PDF (40KB) We refer to the previous Japan P&I News No.650 dated 22nd November 2013. Baroudi & Associates, our correspondents in Lebanon, have provided the Association with updated information about the certificate issued by the Boycott Office of Israel at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in Lebanon. Baroudi & Associates have informed that it is no longer mandatory to obtain a certificate confirming that the vessel has never called in Israeli ports. However, it is recommended by them that a vessel should hold a certificate on board as ever in order to demonstrate certainly and smoothly to the authorities that the vessel has never called in Israeli ports. The certificate is issued by the Boycott Office of Israel at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce. For more detailed information, please see Japan P&I News No.650.
