American Club Circular No. 35/16 1 OCTOBER 12, 2016 CIRCULAR NO. 35/16 TO MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION Dear Member: US ECONOMIC SANCTIONS AGAINST BURMA TERMINATED President Obama recently issued an Executive Order terminating US economic sanctions against Burma (Myanmar). The US regulations governing the Burma sanctions are no longer in effect and Burma SDNs have been deleted from the OFAC SDN List. The termination of the sanctions removes remaining US sanctions restrictions on trade with Burma and on insurance cover from the American Club therefor.
