CLARKSONS PLATOU HELLAS – SnP WEEKLY BULLETIN in Weekly Shipbuilding Reports 28/03/2026 This week, the S&P market has adopted a more cautious tone, however, a fair number of transactions have still materialized across segments. Activity appears more selective and targeted, with the market continuing to be shaped by firm price expectations from Sellers. Dry Cargo In the Capesize sector, Japanese owners invited offers last week for the FRONTIER GARLAND (ABT 181K DWT, 2011, IMABARI) and is now reported sold to Greek interests at USD 36.4m. Elsewhere, the modern Kamsarmax GIA INSPIRATION (ABT 85K DWT, 2022, CSSC TIANJIN) has changed hands at around USD 33.5m, while the Panamax AGRI KINSALE (ABT 77K DWT, 2009, OSHIMA SHIPBUILDING), controlled by c/o Fortune Ocean Shipping, was sold to undisclosed buyers at levels in the low USD 15m’s. In the Ultramax segment, the JIN RUI (ABT, 63K DWT, 2014, JIANGSU HANTONG) has been sold to Chinese interests at USD 24m. Tankers In the Tanker space, several vessels attracted offers this week. Among them were the Korean-owned 2 x VLCCs, C. PROGRESS (ABT 313K DWT, 2012, HD HYUNDAI) and C. INNOVATOR (ABT 297K DWT, 2012, DALIAN), as well as the MR Tanker, PRO ONYX (ABT 50K DWT, 2019, HYUNDAI MIPO), which are currently under negotiations. Additionally, in the MR segment, another sale has been concluded, this time from c/o d’Amico Tankers, who have sold their HIGH SEAS (ABT 51K DWT 2012, HYUNDAI MIPO), for levels of high USD 27 m to Greek buyers.
