Source: Mainport Shipping N-Sea signed a long-term charter agreement with Mainport Shipping at the end of 2024 for the delivery of Geo Master, built by Neptune Construction in Hardinxveld- Giessendam, the Netherlands. The keel laying ceremony was held in January 2025, with the vessel officially launched in January 2026. The christening took place today, June 25, in IJmuiden, marking the vessel’s start of operational service. Geo Master will be deployed across offshore survey, subsea inspection, and infrastructure-related projects within the offshore energy sector across Europe and the UK. The survey and ROV support vessel features dynamic positioning class 2 (DP2) capability and a hybrid propulsion configuration. It is compatible with alternative fuels, including biofuel blends, supporting flexible fuel strategies. Mainport Shipping is the vessel’s owner and ship manager.
