Singapore-based offshore wind vessel player Cyan Renewables has partnered up with South Korean crew transfer vessel operator DRS KWP for future offshore wind operations and maintenance tenders in the country. The subsidiaries of Seraya Partners and Dae-Ryuk Shipping (DRS) have signed a memorandum of understanding under which DRS KWP will be focusing on providing CTVs and Cyan on the supply of service operations vessels (SOVs). Cyan said the collaboration can alleviate the supply chain crunch in South Korea’s offshore wind industry, build on local content, and develop more local maritime talents. The partnership follows the recent launch of Cyan Renewables’ South Korea office in early April and another memorandum of understanding with Hyundai Asset Management to further the investment in the local supply chain and enhance vessel capacity in the country, which targets increasing offshore wind capacity to 14.3 GW by 2030. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsOffshore Wind Singapore South Korea
