TurkStream gas flows to Europe halted for maintenance in General Energy News 06/06/2026 Russian gas deliveries to Europe through the TurkStream pipeline have stopped due to planned maintenance activities, according to data from European gas transmission group ENTSOG and Bulgarian gas network operator Bulgartransgaz. The maintenance work at the Russkaya pumping station and receiving terminals in Turkey began on June 2 and is scheduled to continue through June 10, Bulgartransgaz stated on its website. TurkStream remains the sole operational route for Russian gas transit to Europe following Ukraine’s decision not to renew a five-year transit agreement with Moscow that ended on January 1, 2025.
