GasLog Partners is set to strike a sale and leaseback deal for one of its tri-fuel diesel-electric (TFDE) LNG carriers. The Peter Livanos-controlled company said in its second-quarter earnings release, it had been pursuing an agreement for an unnamed vessel, without disclosing further details. “While no definitive agreement has yet been reached, the agreement is expected to be executed, and the sale is expected to be completed, within the third quarter of 2024,” the company said. GasLog Partners is listed with 14 ships of which eight TFDE units are owned and two on a bareboat charter, built between 2010 and 2016. The company was taken private in July 2023 creating a unified GasLog fleet of nearly 40 LNG carriers. In March of the same year CDB Leasing, the Hong Kong-listed leasing unit of China Development Bank took two of GasLog’s 155,000 cu m vessels in a $284m sale and leaseback deal. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsGreece
