The renewal recognizes Greece as a Quality Flag State and reflects the strong performance of Greek-flagged vessels during U.S. Port State Control inspections over the past three years. According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the detention rate for Greek-flagged vessels remained below 1%, meeting a key eligibility requirement for the program.
