The inspection campaign, which will commence on September 1, 2019 and end on November 30, 2019, will focus on a ship’s capability to respond promptly in an emergency scenario, the emergency systems installed onboard, the crew’s understanding of emergency duties, and the direct influence of shipping companies and managers on the importance of safety and emergency systems. Members are advised to note the eleven (11) additional inspection items which are listed in the attached press release and questionnaire.
