FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin China’s Maritime Safety Agency (MSA) has revised its rules governing ship port entry and exit reporting, introducing updated requirements for vessels operating in waters under the jurisdiction of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The revised measures for the Regulation of Ship Port Entry/Exit Reporting will take effect on 20 September 2026, and remain in force for five years. The rules apply to Chinese-flagged vessels entering or leaving PRC ports, excluding military vessels, fishing vessels and sports craft.
