In its latest weekly report, shipbroker Banchero Costa said that “the NB market remains healthy, with decent number of orders reported this week too; Greek Owner Global Ship Lease (GSL) is reported having ordered 10x 6,800TEU containership at Taizhou Sanfu, making his debut in the NB market. Vessels will be delivered from Q4 2028 to Q1 2030, and the reported price is $ 917 mln in total. Still on containerships, Greek Owner Erasmus Ship Invest is reported having booked an order jointly with China United Lines at Huangpu Wenchong for 4X 1,900 TEU boxships. In the dry market, Greek Owner Tsakos is reported having booked 2x 180,000 dwt capesizes at Hengli Heavy Industries at $ 78 mln each, to be delivered during 2028. Chinese Owner EGPN is rumoured having committed 2x 64,000 ultramax bulk carriers at New Dayang shipyard; reported price is $ 35 mln for delivery 2028 and 2029.
