Semisub rig owner Dolphin Drilling has entered into an agreement with Malaysian offshore services company Vantris Energy, formerly known as Sapura Energy, to market the Blackford Dolphin semisub. The 1974-built rig will be marketed by Vantris Energy on a non-exclusive basis in Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and other locations. “We believe that Vantris is the ideal partner, operating the world’s largest fleet of tender assist drilling rigs. This marketing agreement provides Dolphin Drilling with access to the fastest-growing energy-consuming region in the world”, said Ronny Bjørnådal, chairman of Dolphin Drilling. The company owns and operates a fleet of three harsh-environment mid-water and deep-water semisubmersible drilling rigs, capable of working worldwide. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsMalaysia Norway
