But despite seasonal slowdown, overall asset values continue to hold at firm levels across sectors, reflecting underlying confidence in earnings and sustained buying appetite. With several offer deadlines scheduled for next week, activity is expected to accelerate, and we will be able to report further as the market momentum builds. Dry Cargo Further activity was recorded in the larger sizes, with the Capesize MICHALIS H (ABT 180K DWT, 2012, DAILAN, SCRUBBER) reported sold at USD 35.2 m, reflecting continued appetite for Capesize tonnage. In the geared segment, the Supramax LIANSON DYNAMIC (ABT 53K DWT, 2006, CHENGXI) was reported sold at levels in xs USD 9 m. Whilst we are hearing of a 2010 Japanese built Supramax being committed in levels close to USD 15 m. Tanker On the VLCC front, the scrubber fitted SINGAPORE SPIRIT (ABT 318K DWT, 2013, SWS) is reported sold at USD 84.5 m to C/O Sinokor. Additionally, on the Aframax segment, the Korean built P. SOPHIA (ABT 105K DWT, 2009, Hyundai HI Ulsan) has changed hands achieving USD 36.65 m. Meanwhile, in the MR space, the zinc coated CABO NEGRO II (ABT 47K DWT, 2006, SK Onishi) is reported sold at levels in the low USD 14 m range.
