Image Credit: Avenir LNG Construction has officially begun on LNG bunker supplier Avenir LNG 's second 20,000 m3 LNG bunkering vessel following its keel laying ceremony in China . The ceremony was marked on July 24 at Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering , where the vessel is being built, the firm said in a LinkedIn post yesterday. Avenir LNG said the keel laying represents the official start of the vessel's assembly and highlights the collaboration between the company, its project partners and the shipyard. "We look forward to seeing the vessel take shape over the coming months," the company said in a LinkedIn post. Ship & Bunker had previously reported that the company launched another  20,000 m3 LNG bunkering vessel, Avenir Ambition , last week. According to the company's website, Avenir LNG has five LNG bunkering vessels , with some operated by the company and others chartered to companies. Two more vessels, including the latest newbuild, are scheduled for delivery this year and next year.
