Summer holidays are coming to a close in the northern hemisphere and shipping is getting ready to get back to work. The end of August and the start of September often marks a significant churn point in shipping and offshore recruitment with many deciding for a career change. Over at Splash Jobs there are currently nearly 800 positions in 32 countries covering both shore- and sea-based positions. A recent senior executive survey from Faststream Recruitment showed that 40% of respondents indicated their intention to switch jobs within the next two years.
