Lomar Shipping has clinched long-term charters for four modern chemical product tankers in separate deals that are expected to bring in around $132m. The UK-based maritime subsidiary of New York-based Libra Group has secured three-to-five-year employment for the 2019-built CB Adriatic and 2020-built CB Pacific, CB Baltic and CB Caribic with commodity traders and oil majors, including US refiner Valero. The 37,800 dwt ice-class sister vessels built by New Hantong Shipyard in China were acquired as part of the $160m takeover of Germany’s Carl Büttner in 2022. All ships had subsequently been refinanced via an $86m deal with Australian lender Macquarie Group. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsUnited Kingdom
