The regulation has since been amended to align with the EU's strengthened climate goals. The revisions include monitoring, reporting, and verification of more greenhouse gases and emissions from Offshore vessels and Cargo ships above 400 GT. This robust system is a prerequisite for the recent inclusion of maritime transport in the EU Emission Trading System .  The Club has produced an infographic with key information and guidance to assist Members in understanding the legislation.
