FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin At least 20 people have been killed and five remain missing after a fire broke out aboard a foreign-flagged cargo vessel undergoing repairs at a shipyard in Qingdao, China, on September 10, according to Chinese state media. The fire broke out at about 11:15 a.m. local time aboard the vessel at the Qingdao Beihai shipyard during repair and inspection works, Xinhua reported. There were 42 people onboard at the time. Twelve people were evacuated safely, while five others were injured and taken to hospital. The fire was extinguished by early afternoon.
