Registration is now open for September 24’s Splash Singapore, the inaugural edition of what is being billed as Asia’s leading shipowner conference, taking place at the five-star Fairmont Hotel in the heart of Singapore’s financial district. Built on eight editions of the Maritime CEO Forum Singapore and organised by the team behind shipping news site Splash and Geneva Dry, Splash Singapore brings a proven conference philosophy to a bigger stage: no presentations, no slides, no selling – just the most senior figures in global shipping in genuine, unscripted conversation about the issues that matter. Confirmed speakers include Andreas Michalopoulos, CEO of Performance Shipping; Arthur English, CEO of G2 Ocean; Jan Rindbo, CEO of Norden; Jeremy Sutton, CEO of Swire Shipping; Martin Fruergaard, CEO of Pacific Basin Shipping; Mikael Skov, CEO of Hafnia; Nick Potter, President and CEO of AET; and Stamatis Tsantanis, Chairman and CEO of Seanergy Maritime Holdings. Joining this formidable roster are several newly confirmed speakers. Christoph Toepfer, CEO of Borealis Maritime and founder of Borealis Tanker; Ingrid Kylstad, managing director of Klaveness Digital; Michelle Gonzalez, head of chartering, long term contracts and operations for APAC and the Middle East at Vale; Nakul Malhotra, VP emerging opportunities portfolio at Wilhelmsen Group, while Tim Huxley, CEO of Mandarin Shipping and one of Asia’s most respected shipowners, adds his customary candour to proceedings as one of the industry’s most entertaining conference moderators. Registration is priced at just S$750. Special discounted hotel room rates at the Fairmont have been secured exclusively for Splash Singapore delegates, making it straightforward to combine attendance with an extended stay in Singapore to attend many other events taking place in late September. The timing of Splash Singapore is no accident. The event takes place the day before the Singapore Shipping Association’s renowned annual dinner – one of the most attended nights in the Asian maritime calendar – meaning delegates arriving for Splash Singapore find themselves at the centre of a week-long concentration of maritime activity. Marine Money’s Singapore event also features during the same week. Grant Rowles, co-founder of Splash Singapore, commented: “The speaker list we have assembled for September 24 is as good as anything you will find anywhere in Asia this year, the venue is world class, and the price is deliberately highly competitive.” The full Splash Singapore agenda can be accessed here.Splash Singapore registration, at just S$750, can be accessed here.Special Splash Singapore hotel room rates can be found here. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsSingapore Splash Singapore
