VIKING Life-Saving Equipment has been appointed as Dräger’s Official Preferred Global Sales and Service Partner for selected marine safety equipment. The agreement covers Dräger’s respiratory protection equipment and mobile gas detection solutions for the global maritime industry. The companies formalised the partnership on 2 September during SMM 2026 in Hamburg . Partnership expands existing cooperation The agreement builds on an existing relationship between VIKING and Dräger. Under the partnership, maritime customers will gain access to Dräger products through VIKING’s global sales and service network. The scope includes respiratory protection equipment, portable gas detection systems, tubes and drug and alcohol detection kits. “This partnership aims to leverage the benefits of scale and strong collaboration to ensure continuity in supply and service in this critical area of safety and life-saving equipment,” said Henrik Helsinghof, CEO of VIKING Life-Saving Equipment. VIKING network to support Dräger equipment VIKING operates a global network of certified service stations supporting cargo shipping, passenger vessels, offshore operations, navies and coastguards. The partnership will use this network to provide sales and service support for Dräger’s covered marine products. Dräger, meanwhile, has a presence in more than 190 countries. “For maritime customers, having access to products and service from a single source is a decisive factor in keeping safety equipment ready for use at all times,” said Rainer Klug, Executive Board Member Safety Technology at Dräger.
