A.P. Moller – Maersk has appointed Roberta Duarte as its new Chief People Officer. Duarte will also join Maersk’s Executive Leadership Team when she assumes the role on 1 November 2026. The appointment marks her return to the Danish shipping and logistics company after a decade with the group. Duarte previously worked at Maersk between 2014 and 2024. During that period, she held senior people leadership positions across Asia Pacific, Latin America and the company’s Ocean and Logistics businesses. Duarte subsequently joined medical technology company Werfen, where she currently serves as Chief People Officer. Before beginning her first tenure at Maersk, the Brazilian executive worked at Citibank and held several roles across Latin America and North America.
