ADVISORIES ARE AVAILABLE AT http://www.pancanal.com FOR ETAS OR DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH OUR OFFICES, REFER TO NOTICE N-3-2023 Panama Canal Authority Vice Presidency for Operations Advisory To Shipping No. A-17-2024 June 7, 2024 TO: All Shipping Agents, Owners, and Operators SUBJECT: Scheduled maintenance at Pedro Miguel Locks Beginning at 0400 hours on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, until 0400 hours on Friday, July 19, 2024 (10 Days), the center wall culvert of Pedro Miguel Locks will be out of service for scheduled maintenance on cylindrical and rising stem valves. Lockages will take additional time during the maintenance period. No decrease in capacity is expected, therefore, the limitation in the number of restricted vessels and the number of slots per direction for Supers and Regulars in the Panamax Locks will remain unchanged. Also, the Just-In-Time (JIT) transit slots available for supers and regular vessels transiting without restrictions, will remain in one (1) per direction.
