Japan’s Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) has made an investment in Taiwanese offshore wind integrated service company IOVTEC The investment in IOVTEC and its subsidiary companies, collectively known as the IOG Group, was made through a subscription of newly issued stock shares. Through this investment, NYK and IOVTEC will contribute to developing Japan’s offshore wind power industry and further strengthen their position in the Taiwan market. They also aim to further expand offshore wind power-related projects in the Asia-Pacific region, including Taiwan. The company provides services for offshore wind projects in Taiwan and across Asia. These activities include marine surveys, construction support, vessel chartering, management and repair, talent cultivation, and the operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms.
