7 September 2005 TO ALL WAR RISKS MEMBERS Dear Sirs Additional Premium Areas Further to the Association’s Circular dated 22 July 2005 giving notice of amendments to the Additional Premium Areas, we are pleased to inform Members that with effect from 24:00 hours BST on 1 September 2005, Members are no longer required to declare transit only voyages through the Malacca Strait and therefore no Additional Premiums will be chargeable. Calls at ports in the Malacca Strait, will still need to be declared and an Additional Premium may be required. The Additional Premium Areas in force at 24:00 hours BST as from 1 September 2005 will therefore read as per the following schedule.
