FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin Despite growing security concerns in the Gulf region following the sinking of the Indian-flagged vessel Haji Ali off the coast of Oman, two LPG tankers carrying cargo for Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) have successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz. According to government officials, the LPG tanker Symi transited the Strait on 13 May, followed by NV Sunshine on 14 May. Symi, a Marshall Islands-flagged vessel carrying 19,965 tonnes of LPG for IOC, is expected to arrive at Kandla on 16 May.
