Norway’s Solstad Offshore has picked up fresh work for two of its vessels worth a combined $65m. The 2006-built anchor handler Normand Turmalina has secured a three-year extension with BRAVA Energia in Brazil, keeping the vessel fixed until early 2029. Meanwhile, subsea player Ocean Infinity has exercised its option on the 2017-built construction support vessel Normand Superior, extending the charter by one year to February 2027. The deals add further backlog for the Skudeneshavn-based owner, which continues to build its position in the subsea and offshore support markets. Earlier this month, Solstad Offshore also secured a contract for the CSV Normand Commander with Petrobras. The vessel will be on a four-year bareboat contract from Solstad Maritime to Solstad Offshore.
