Ghana － Stowaways Update 8 August 2017 No.911 Download PDF (87KB) We have been advised by our correspondent Budd S.A. Marseille that the 2016 ban on the disembarkation of non-Ghanaian stowaways in the ports of Tema and Takoradi has been repealed as of July 2017 (cf. Japan P&I News No.818 dated 19 May, 2016). No official government notice has been issued to this effect. However, our correspondents obtained authorization to disembark and repatriate non-Ghanaian stowaways in July 2017.   We will keep an eye out for up to date information.
