Greece’s Latsco Shipping has booked four LR2 tankers at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea. Industry sources have identified the Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis-led diversified owner behind the order the shipbuilder from Ulsan recently revealed in a regulatory filing. The 115,000 dwt newbuilds will be scrubber-fitted and delivered by subsidiary Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding from the fourth quarter of 2026 to the second quarter of 2027 at around $69.6m per unit. Latsco’s LR2 fleet currently stands at seven vessels, according to shipping databases.
