Under Article 20 of Environment Law no. 2872, fines are updated annually in line with inflation. The Directorate of Revenue Administration has set the 2025 inflation adjustment at 25.49%, as published in the Official Gazette on 27 November 2025. Accordingly, fines issued from 1 January 2026 will rise by 25.49% over 2025 levels.
