London-listed liftboat operator Gulf Marine Services (GMS) has won a new contract for one of its E-class vessels in the Middle East. The contract for an unnamed large-class vessel will last for two years, including options to extend the deal further. Financial details and the client were left undisclosed. GMS has four E-class self-propelled, self-elevating accommodation jackups, the GMS Endurance, GMS Endeavour, GMS Enterprise, and GMS Evolution. The award comes less than a week after GMS won two contracts for two large-class vessels in Europe. “We are extremely happy to have secured this contract, which once again highlights the strong demand for our vessels and services. The additional contracts we announced recently add up to 2,354 days, and we look forward to further strengthening our backlog,” said Mansour Al Alami, GMS executive chairman. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsUnited Arab Emirates
