news Offshore Operational risk Splash247
Danish offshore vessel owner Maersk Supply Service has picked up contracts with Italy’s ECOS for two of its units. The AHTS vessels Maersk Laser and Maersk Logger have been fixed for two months for work on the floating regasification terminal (FSRU) Toscana. Offshore brokers tell Splash the contract has already commenced at an undisclosed dayrate. FSRU Toscana operates about 22 km off the coast between Livorno and Pisa, in Tuscany. The unit was earlier sent to the port of Marseille for maintenance operations. Maersk Supply Service is in the process of merging with its Norwegian counterpart DOF in a $1.11bn cash and share deal. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsDenmark Italy
