In a statement issued on 10 September, the Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center (HOCC) said there had been no change to Yemen’s position beyond the previously announced restrictions on Saudi vessels. The declaration comes as maritime security risks across the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea remain elevated, with commercial vessels continuing to face the threat of armed skiffs, drones and anti-ship missiles.
