Duringthecourseofthecampaign,1,645portStatecontrolinspections on1,574individualvesselswerecarriedoutand111detentionswas recorded. Outof1,645PSCinspections,1,213inspectionsconductedwiththeCIC Questionnaire,on1,188individualvessels.Inaddition,atotalof90 detentionsrecordedwith20detentionsasadirectresultofthisCIC. Theoveralldetentionrate(Percentageofalldetentionsperall inspectionsusingCICquestionnaire)was7.4%.TheCICtopicrelated detentionratewas1.6%. TheleastfavorableresponseswererecordedforQuestion8,"Isthe BallastWaterRecordBook(BWRB)properlyfilledincludingexemptionsif granted?”With7.83%negativeanswers. Mediterranean MoU on PSC Secretariat ThemostpositiveresponseswererecordedforQuestion10,“Ifan exemptionhasbeengranted,aretheconditionsofexemption implemented?”whichwasfoundtobesatisfactorywithnonegative answers. Outofthe1,213CICinspectionsthattookplace,General cargo/multipurposerecordedthelargestnumberofCICinspectionsby 476inspectionsand63detentionswith70%detentionpercentage. Outofthe1,213CICinspectionsthattookplace,flagofPanamarecorded thelargestnumberofCICinspectionsby284inspectionsand21detention with23%detentionpercentage.
