According to information from the circular, China MSA issued a notice on Special Safety and Security Inspection to ships calling at Xiamen port between 1st June and 5th September 2017, which is owing to the forthcoming BRICS meeting expected to be held in Xiamen between 3rd and 5th September 2017. The special inspection should be applied to all the vessels calling at Xiamen. Especially, Owners / Charterers of any foreign flag vessels should take note that the period of the inspection and documents required to submit would be different from the ones for Chinese flag vessels. Attached please find the details. Please contact your local agent for more detailed information in case your good vessel is scheduled to call at Xiamen Port during the period.
