Turkey’s PascoGas has returned to South Korean shipbuilder HD Hyundai Mipo for more medium-sized gas carriers. Shipbuilding sources have named the Istanbul-based company as the owner of two 45,000 cu m newbuilds contracted at the yard in Ulsan for around $83m each. The LPG-capable MGCs are scheduled for delivery in the second and third quarter of 2027. The two ships add to four other MGCs PascoGas had ordered at Hyundai Mipo between 2021 and 2023. Earlier this year, the company established in December 2019, also signed up for two very large ammonia carriers at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries. The 80,000 cu m pair worth over $120m each is scheduled for delivery by the end of March 2027. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsSouth Korea Turkey
