Norway’s Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS) has won another contract extension for the 2005-built platform supply vessel Energy Swan from Repsol Norge. The contract extension is in direct continuation of the current charter, which started in 2021 for a firm period of one year plus a total of one year of options. Repsol Norge and GEOS agreed to several extensions after the expiration of the firm period. The first one extended the charter until May 1, 2023. After that, the two companies agreed to two two-month extensions – keeping the vessel with Repsol until October 1. After that, the Norwegian firm won a new charter deal for the vessel, also in direct continuation of the current charter contract. The new deal was for a firm period of two months with optional two two-month options. Repsol Norge now exercised the second of the two options under the latest charter keeping the Energy Swan for two more months. This means that the large-size PSV will work for the energy firm until May 1, 2024.
