Ocean Network Express has announced enhancements to its two Asia-South Africa services, the South Africa Connection and the South Africa Service, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to network optimisation and improved reliability on this trade corridor. The South Africa Connection will operate on a weekly frequency with an updated rotation of Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Nansha, Singapore, Durban, Singapore and back to Shanghai. The COSCO Wellington will be the effective vessel, with an estimated arrival at Shanghai on June 14, 2026. The South Africa Service will also operate weekly on a revised rotation covering Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Hong Kong, Singapore, Durban, Cape Town, Singapore and back to Qingdao.
