CLARKSONS PLATOU HELLAS – SnP WEEKLY BULLETIN in Weekly Shipbuilding Reports 19/06/2026 On the Dry Bulk side, activity has remained notably strong, more than a handful transactions were concluded this week across a broad range of segments, from Handysize up to Post-Panamaxes. Buyers’ appetite remains healthy, underpinning a consistently active dry sale and purchase market. On the Tanker side, activity has been comparatively more selective, in line with the previous weeks. At the same time, market participants are closely monitoring geopolitical developments following the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between the US and Iran. While the agreement has been welcomed as a step towards de-escalation, the longer-term implications remain uncertain, and the market awaits to see greater clarity on the normalization in the Strait of Hormuz during the following weeks. Dry Cargo In the Post-Panamax segment, Greek buyers emerged behind the scrubber-fitted CORNELIE OLDENDORFF (ABT 93K DWT, 2011, ZHEJIANG, SCRUBBER), which is understood sold in the high USD 15m range, with delivery in October. On the Kamsarmax front, Japanese Owners concluded the sale of the MONT BLANC HAWK (ABT 82K DWT, 2017, IMABARI) after inviting offers earlier in the week, achieving a price in the region of USD 32.5m. The Supramax AFRICAN TERN (ABT 58K DWT, 2013, DALIAN COSCO) has been sold for high USD 19m, whilst the SANTA RITA (ABT 56K DWT, 2010, MITSUI) was acquired by Greek interests for USD 17.2m. In the Handysize sector, c/o Devbulk have acquired the SHINSUNG ACCORD (ABT 37K DWT, 2015, SAIKI) and the ASTRO PROPUS (ABT 38K DWT, 2014, IMABARI) at USD 19m each. Separately, the DEVBULK IMABARI (ABT 29K DWT, 2009, IMABARI, OHBS/GC) has been sold to Turkish buyers for USD 10.5m. Tanker On the Aframax segment, the SAMOS (ABT 105K DWT, 2010, SUMITOMO) achieved a price around region USD mid-40m’s basis Q3 delivery. Elsewhere, the MR SANDPIPER PACIFIC (ABT 51K DWT, 2013, SUNGDONG) was sold for USD 32m. (
