Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has been awarded a new contract for an anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) by Brazilian state-owned oil and gas giant Petrobras. According to an Oslo Bors filing, Petrobras hired the 2005-built anchor handler Normand Topazio. The contract has a duration of four years firm and is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2026. The vessel will support Petrobras operations in Brazil.
