Offshore accommodation vessel specialist Prosafe has been issued a letter of intent from Ithaca Energy for the charter of the 1982-built flotel Safe Caledonia to provide accommodation support at the Captain field in the UK sector of the North Sea. The firm duration of the contract, set to start during the second quarter of 2027, is six months with up to three months of options. The final contract award is expected in the first quarter of 2026. The value of the contract linked to the deal is between $30m and $44m, depending on options.
