Norwegian offshore seismic vessel player Shearwater Geoservices has been awarded an ocean bottom node (OBN) seismic acquisition project for the Jackdaw field in the UK sector of the North Sea. The contract was awarded by Adura, the new UK-based joint venture between Shell and Equinor. The two-month survey will deliver high-resolution OBN data to support reservoir understanding across the Jackdaw field. The project scope covers approximately 220 sq km of seismic acquisition using Shearwater’s SW Tasman and its established OBN capabilities and deployment techniques. The SW Gallien will provide source capabilities. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsNorway United Kingdom
