CMA CGM is preparing several changes to its intra-European network, including taking full control of the PGE service. The French carrier will also revise several services across Northwest Europe, with ports shifting between five different loops. The changes are expected to take effect from October. CMA CGM takes full control of PGE The joint PGE/iNEX service operated by CMA CGM and Ellerman City Liners will become a standalone CMA CGM operation. CMA CGM will deploy two 1,400 TEU vessels on the service. It is not yet known whether Ellerman will remain involved as a slot charterer. The PGE rotation will be: London (Tilbury) – Rotterdam – Leixoes – Setubal – London CMA CGM revises Northwest Europe network CMA CGM will also make several changes to its intra-Northwest Europe services, according to Alphaliner. The BLX will add Dublin and Southampton. At the same time, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Aarhus and Szczecin will leave the service. Bremerhaven, Hamburg and Aarhus will move to the SWX. Szczecin will instead join the FLX. Le Havre will be removed from the SWX. Hamburg will also leave the HLX and join the revived DKX service. The DKX had been merged into the HLX only a few months earlier. New service rotations Following the changes, the five services will operate with the following rotations: BLX: Dublin – Southampton – Riga – Gdansk – Southampton – Dublin SWX: Bremerhaven – Hamburg – Aarhus – Gothenburg – Bremerhaven FLX: Bremerhaven – Hamburg – Kotka – Helsinki – Gdansk – Szczecin – Bremerhaven HLX: London (Tilbury) – Dunkirk – Helsingborg – London DKX: London (Tilbury) – Dunkirk – Hamburg – London.
