Image Credit: Fincantieri Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has delivered the cruise ship Mein Schiff Flow to cruise line  TUI Cruises at its Monfalcone shipyard. The 160,000 GT vessel is the second of the InTUItion-class ships capable of running on LNG or conventional marine fuels, Fincantieri said in a statement on its website on Monday . Designed to carry around 4,000 passengers , the ship is intended to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions. Mein Schiff Flow can also use lower-emission fuels such as bio-LNG and e-LNG. These fuels are cleaner alternatives to LNG and can be used in LNG dual-fuel ships as drop-in fuels.  It is equipped with shore-power connectivity, Euro 6-compliant catalytic converters, a steam turbine that recovers waste heat, and an advanced waste-treatment system. Two more dual-fuel ships are on order, with deliveries scheduled for 2031 and 2032 .
