Neptune Pacific has announced temporary schedule and rotation changes to its INTRAPAC and MICROPAC services as it adjusts vessel deployment and responds to cargo demand. The changes affect upcoming voyages of the Capitaine Wallis and Southern Pearl . Both vessels are expected to return to their regular rotations on their subsequent voyages. Capitaine Wallis to omit Funafuti Capitaine Wallis voyage 2609 will omit its scheduled call at Funafuti and instead make an ad-hoc call at Santo. The vessel is scheduled to call Lautoka on 26 August and Suva on 28 August before calling Santo on 2 September. Calls at Wallis and Futuna are scheduled for 7 and 12 September, respectively, before the vessel returns to Lautoka on 15 September. All Funafuti cargo originally booked aboard Capitaine Wallis 2609 will be transferred to Southern Pearl 2607. Southern Pearl adds Funafuti call As part of the adjustment, Southern Pearl voyage 2607 will make an additional ad-hoc call at Funafuti. The vessel is scheduled to depart the Fiji rotation with calls at Lautoka on 29 August and Suva on 30 August before reaching Funafuti on 4 September. It will then continue to Majuro on 12 September, Tarawa on 15 September and Apia on 25 September before returning to Lautoka on 29 September. Neptune Pacific said the temporary changes are being implemented to facilitate vessel changes on its NZPAC and AUSPAC services while meeting cargo demand requirements.
