Offshore jackup rig player Borr Drilling has secured further work for three of its units in a 24-strong fleet. The New York- and Oslo-listed company has bagged an extension for the 2013-built rig Mist from Valeura Energy offshore Thailand and is now fixed until August 2026. Additionally, the 2013-built jackup rig Prospector 1 had further option exercised and is now firmly contracted until July 2025 to ONE-Dyas for work offshore the UK and Netherlands. The third extension was secured for the Keppel FELS-built premium rig Hild which will keep the unit working for Fieldwood Energy offshore Mexico until March 2026. Tor Olav Trøim-backed Borr Drilling will delist from the Oslo Stock Exchange at the end of the year after more then seven years of trading.
