CEVA Logistics has launched a pilot using autonomous electric vehicles at its Blue Hub facility in Singapore. The company has deployed two Zelostech Z10 vehicles to move cargo between different floors of the logistics facility. Autonomous vehicles replace diesel operations The vehicles transport pallets, totes and other inventory using the building’s existing multi-level ramps. They can move between floors without requiring changes to the hub’s ramp infrastructure. CEVA said the pilot is designed to replace diesel truck movements within the facility. It also aims to improve the use of staging areas and make inventory transfers more flexible. Based on current trial results, CEVA expects the two vehicles to reduce CO₂ emissions by at least 4,600 kilograms per year . Technology tested at 50,000 sqm hub CEVA’s Blue Hub is an eight-storey facility covering 50,000 sqm . It serves customers in sectors including luxury goods, beauty, retail and healthcare. The site already uses several automation technologies. These include Goods-to-Person systems, automated guided vehicles and robotics. The autonomous vehicle pilot follows the 2025 CMA CGM Startup Awards, organised with innovation accelerator ZEBOX. Zelostech was among the winners and received funding to develop a proof of concept with the CMA CGM Group. CEVA considers wider rollout CEVA will use results from the Singapore pilot to assess whether autonomous mobility technology could be introduced at other facilities in its global network. “Our focus is to continually improve efficiency and deliver better logistics solutions for our customers,” said Guy Meredith, Vice President, APAC Contract Logistics at CEVA Logistics. He added that CEVA is working with technology companies across Asia Pacific to introduce automation and AI into supply chain operations.
