Image Credit: Dan-Bunkering Global marine fuel trading firm Dan-Bunkering has facilitated the LNG bunkering operation for shipping firm Sallaum Lines ’ new LNG-fuelled pure car and truck carrier in China . The vessel, Ocean Express , was bunkered with about 1,400 mt of LNG , the firm said in an email statement on Friday . The supply follows more than a year of planning between the companies, with Dan-Bunkering assessing LNG sourcing options linked to Sallaum Lines' newbuild programme since April 2025 . Ocean Express is one of six vessels in the series and the fourth for which Dan-Bunkering has supported LNG supply arrangements. Sallaum Lines took delivery of the vessel earlier this month . The bunkering operation was carried out through a ship-to-ship delivery solution with Dan-Bunkering working with local supplier SIPG Energy to coordinate and execute the operation. The delivery also involved support from Dan-Bunkering's Netherlands office and specialists from parent company Bunker Holding . “This is a great example of what it takes to support clients in the transition to alternative fuels,” James Shiller , Global Lead of New Fuels at Dan-Bunkering, said.
