Maersk will introduce revised fuel surcharge levels for trucking operations in Greece and Skopje from 14 September 2026. The updated surcharge levels are: Greece: 15% Skopje: 25% Maersk attributed the adjustments to rising fuel costs linked to the situation in the Middle East. The carrier will review the surcharges weekly instead of monthly during this period. No adjustment trigger will apply, while Maersk will publish the rates for the following week every Friday. The charges will appear on invoices under the codes EFS for Export Fuel Surcharge and IFS for Import Fuel Surcharge. Maersk said the measure will remain in place for as long as necessary to cover the increased costs. The post Maersk updates fuel surcharges in Greece and Skopje appeared first on Container News .
