John Fredriksen’s offshore drilling rig owner Northern Ocean has appointed Arne Jacobsen as its new chief executive, following the exit of Scott McReaken earlier this year. Jacobsen was previously CEO of Orion, a joint venture between Hayfin Capital and Swiss-based offshore drilling giant Transocean. Before joining Hayfin Capital, Jacobsen held leading positions in Songa Offshore and Ocean Rig.
