PSA International and Granite Asia have launched a US$50 million fund to support technology companies developing solutions for ports, logistics and global supply chains. The G&P Strategic Innovation Fund will focus on technologies including artificial intelligence, robotics and automation. It aims to help companies move beyond pilot projects and bring their solutions into wider commercial use. The fund will co-invest alongside Granite Asia’s existing funds. In addition, selected companies will be able to draw on PSA’s global operating network and experience across port and supply chain operations. Focus on scalable port and logistics technology PSA said rapid advances in AI, robotics and automation are creating new opportunities across global trade and logistics. Through the fund, PSA and Granite Asia plan to identify technologies that can improve port operations and strengthen connections across supply chains. “Innovation, automation and artificial intelligence are increasingly becoming critical differentiators in global supply chains,” said Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO, PSA International. He added that the partnership would support PSA’s efforts to improve operational performance and connect its port ecosystems more effectively. The initiative also forms part of a broader partnership between PSA and Granite Asia. Their cooperation will cover technology insights, venture engagement, talent development and innovation projects. Granite Asia, meanwhile, will bring its investment experience in areas including AI and robotics. “The G&P Strategic Innovation Fund brings together Granite Asia’s technology investment platform with PSA’s global operational scale and supply chain know-how,” said Jixun Foo, Senior Managing Partner, Granite Asia. The new fund adds to PSA’s existing technology investment activities. PSA Ventures, the group’s venture capital arm, already focuses on terminal technology, supply chain and logistics solutions, green energy and digital technologies
